Robert Strange began his directing career as the visual artist of the super cool pop collective Superorganism. His vibrant, energetic mixed-media style has been one of the driving forces behind the band’s success. Outside of Superorganism, Robert has also made music videos for notable artists such as Gorillaz, Stephen Malkmus, and Tinie Tempah. His commercial work has seen him collaborate with brands such as Adidas and Levis.
He has extensive experience in overseeing 2D, 3D and VFX-focussed pieces as well as creating 2D pixel, collage and claymation animation. He often makes use of green screen performance, location shooting and phone footage to maintain an organic element in his work. His experience across all forms of animation and ability to mix them as he wishes makes him a true mixed media specialist, with the added twist of being utterly unique in his tone.
